Our Mission.

Our purpose is to produce high quality specialty coffee that not only brings joy to our customers but also allows our farmers and their land to thrive. Through direct-trade we reinvest profits into communities that desperately need development in education, health care and infrastructure. We see our customers and our farmers as real people connected through the story of coffee who both invest in one another‘s quality of life. Because we love people who love people and love coffee.

What People Are Saying.

“I was lucky enough to receive one of the first samples sent to the United States, and I am extremely excited about Lighthouse Coffee. While the product I received was excellent, the most exciting part of their coffee was the inherent potential that was obvious before I even roasted my first batch. I am greatly looking forward to working with a group that, not only values quality in their products, but that I can trust to treat the farmers fairly and improve the communities that they are working with.”

— Chayne Sturgeon, head roaster at CoffeeWorks, Wichita, Kansas.

“Lighthouse Coffee brings everything about quality and meaningful coffee together. Their hard work was seen immediately in how they started to produce their coffee and then went even further as I learned more about the heart and story behind it. After I received my sample it was fun to work with a coffee that is more difficult to find and purchase. The coffee developed well and performed well in the cup. We received many positive reviews from our volunteer testers who all enjoyed the notes and were able to pull specific flavors out of a rather complex cup. I'm excited to see how this coffee will continue to grow into a specialty coffee with farming practices and exporting that are honoring and ethical across the board!”

— Joel Potter, Owner of Nameless Coffee, Wichita, Kansas.

“My whole routine around coffee changed when I was first introduced to Lighthouse and they work they do. When I visited Myanmar I became aware of the fact that coffee can have flavors beyond what dark roast offers and a big impact on lives. I love that now as I enjoy my morning cup of coffee, I have the privilege of participating in community development!”
